Woman arrested after 2 children stabbed

A 10-year-old boy managed to call for help while he consoled his 9-year-old sister after they were both stabbed multiple times by a relative at a northeast Harris County home, officials said.Deputies were dispatched to the house in the 8100 block of Greens Road about 8 p.m. Wednesday after a woman was heard banging on a neighbor’s door and screaming that she had killed someone, said Deputy Thomas Gilliland, spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.

Vines' students go hands-on with pets

Firefighters rescue man from storage tank

Houston firefighters rescued a man after he fell into a storage tank at a grease recycling company just north of downtown this morning. The mishap occurred about 10 a.m. on Schalker and Cavalcade.

Woman's body found in car at IAH

The body of person was found in a car at a parking garage at Bush Intercontinental Airport last night. Houston police homicide investigators said the body was found about 11 p.m. in the car parked in the parking structure at 3870 North Terminal Road.

Reward increased for info on 2005 N. Houston slaying

Private donors have increased by $5,000 the reward for information about an unsolved slaying more than four years ago, officials said. The body of Raymond Bradford, 53, was found in the 7600 block of Tidwell early in the morning May 31, 2005.
