    Two killed in separate shootings

    An unidentified man died after he was shot around 7:30 p.m. during a fight between two groups of men in the 6400 block of Helmers.

    A second man was fatally shot at a tavern a few blocks away a few hours later. Silva did not know if the shootings were related or if gangs were involved.
