Homicide detectives are investigating the death of an infant whose badly decomposed body was found at an apartment complex in northwest Houston early this morning.
The child was found at a unit in the 3800 block of Sherwood Lane just after midnight.
Investigators said they believe the boy had been born two months ago.
The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office, which is scheduled to perform an autopsy, will determine the infant’s age as well as the cause of death.
