WHAT: Houston area residents and families who earn less than $50,000 are eligible to have their taxes prepared for free by IRS-certified tax preparers at any Neighborhood Tax Center.
Neighborhood Tax Centers provide free, fast and accurate tax preparation and offer convenient day, evening and weekend hours. Families can visit 21 locations throughout the Greater
Houston area. A consumer-friendly refund loan is also available for families who cannot wait 8 to 14 days for their refund. Call 2-1-1 or visit www.neighborhood-centers.org/tax for locations, hours and a list of what to bring.
