Police suspect a drunken driver may be responsible for a two-car crash that killed one woman in north Houston Sunday evening, authorities said.
Investigators say a woman driving a Honda CRV was traveling north in the 10400 block of North Freeway around 6:24 p.m. when she swerved out of her lane and struck a Mazda 3, said Houston Police Department Sgt. E. Spencer.
The collision forced the Mazda, which was also traveling north, off the road, and it crashed into a lightpole, Spencer said.
