MacArthur Sr. High recently announced the Teacher of the Year, Rodrick Baxter, a math teacher who has been teaching for fourteen years. Mr. Baxter is an enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to student development and the learning experience. He is skilled in the design of challenging, enriching, and innovative activities that address the diverse interests and needs of students. In addition to his classroom teaching, he coaches track and field because he feels that it enhances students' well-being and directly impacts their academic success. He is a member of several professional organizations.
