A stray bullet sent a woman to the hospital Tuesday night in a shooting that also left a man dead at an apartment complex in northeast Harris County.
Deputies said a man, 19, was gunned down about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday outside an apartment in the 5600 block of Aldine Bender. He was struck several times and taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he died from his wounds, Harris County deputies said.
One of the bullets fired at the man also struck a bystander inside another apartment in the complex. The woman was taken to LBJ Hospital, where she was treated for a gunshot wound to the knee, deputies said.
