    More than 20 immigrants held in NW Harris County

    An anonymous tip this afternoon led deputies to a home in northwest Harris County where more than 20 illegal immigrants were being held, authorities said.

    The caller, who claimed to be a friend of one of the immigrants, told Harris County sheriff's deputies about 2:30 p.m. they were being held against their will at a home in the 6500 block of Trail Valley Way near Antoine, authorities said.

    The men held inside the home worked at construction sites while the women were used as maids to pay off the cost of transporting them into the United States, deputies said.
