Nimitz product Brittney Griner, now a freshman for Baylor, has been suspended for two games following her punch to the face of Texas Tech's Jordan Barncastle.
Griner lost her cool during a game on March and punched Barncastle after the two got tangled up. Griner was automatically suspended for one game, per NCAA rules, for committing a flagrant foul and Baylor coach Kim Mulkey suspended her for a second. Read the whole story.
