An apartment fire in northeast Harris County this morning has prompted officials with the Aldine Independent School District to delay the start of classes for three schools near the scene.

MacArthur Sr. High recently announced the Teacher of the Year, Rodrick Baxter, a math teacher who has been teaching for fourteen years.
