Stephen C. Head, Ph.D., the sixth president of Lone Star College-North Harris, part of the Lone Star College System, has been honored as “2009 Citizen of the Year” by the members of the North Houston-Greens point Chamber of Commerce.

Starting in spring 2010, the LSC-Greenspoint Center will offer a new program it's calling the Accounting Mentoring Program. The new program pairs accounting students with a local Certified Public Account, who will help guide them in their scholastic development and career goals.
